Covers for aquariums and terrariums serve three main purposes. 

The cover prevents dust from getting inside of the tank.

I have kept my first disposable LED USB light turned on 24/7 since January 1st, 2018.

I use wired hangers to make holders or stands for LED lights made of disposable LED lighters and such to illuminate plastic bottle aquariums as shown in my previous videos.

I used battery powered LED from disposable items to make USB powered LED.

LED polarity

On the positive side of LED: a thin wire inside of the bulb, a bump on the side of the bulb and a long pin. 

On the negative side of LED: a thick wire inside of the bulb and a short pin.
