March - April is time to visit Roosevelt Island for cherry blooming sight viewing.
But the best blooming happens in the middle of Spring - right now!
Cherry trees grow along both sides of Roosevelt island.
Trees on the East side are already blooming!
Right now is right time to take the best pictures of blooming cherries.
And climb on hills of Cornell Tech campus to get the best panoramic view of 3 boroughs.

Cherry blossom festival starts on Roosevelt Island a couple weeks late when trees bloom on the West side of the Island.
Taking NYC water ferry is enjoyable breezy way to get on Roosevelt island and get nice sight viewing along the way!
The air tram running between Manhattan and Roosevelt Island offers bird view of Roosevelt island!
There is a nice view of East river and Upper East side of Manhattan.
Taking F train or Q102 bus are other options to get on Roosevelt island.
Either way you get on Roosevelt Island you will find the prettiest cherry trees blooming right now on the East side by the Roosevelt Island bridge.
These are the pinkiest, the bushies - simply the best cherry blooms!
