When Newts Sleep

I've been enjoying watching newts in my paludarium for about 3 months now. 

3 adult Red-spotted newts also known as Eastern newts.

Walking along by the river I often pick some treasures for my aquariums. 

Pretty rocks, driftwood and all kinds of seashells.

Under Queensborough Bridge on the East side

Going South.

Cornell Tech campus.

Turn to the West.

Turn to the North.

The Queensborough bridge is lighted in all its beauty!

Tonight, the Empire building is all in green under arch of the bridge!

The East side of Manhattan is pretty sight to look at from here.

Up North we are going.

Passing the train station.

Off the Main street to the East side we go.

STOP! AND LOOK!!

Cherry blossoms are even more beautiful at night time.

White and pink blossoms!

Keep moving.

Lighthouse park.

Turn on the East side.

Now we are going in South direction by the East side.

Stay on the Main street.

Turn under the ramp on the East side.

Turn on the Main street.

We are on the finish line...back to the tram station.

Paperwhite (red) Time-lapse

Time-lapse recording of Paperwhites or paperwhites narcissus, also known as a type of daffodil.

I added red food dye into water to make the flower change color from white to reddish.
Interestingly, you may notice that flower keeps growing after I cut it off before it blooms!
