Bike commuters $peed bumps on New York city bridges

Bike commuters $peed bumps on New York city bridges

The first serious snow storm of the Winter 2024 brought police cars to each entrance of bike lanes on the 59th bridge NYC.

It noticeably slows down the traffic at each entrance / exit.

I mostly see NYPD cars here in the dark.

It seems to serve as silent warnings for preventing over speeding.
Cranking a bike down the hill of this bridge can get you going 30 miles over the max allowed speed limit.

Though, most cyclists go slower on this slippery road getting speeding tickets in a range of $100.

That's a noticeable $peed bump!

Have fun and safe ride :)
