Here you can see a red spotted newt found a worm.

It is quite challenging for a toothless newt to swallow a large worm.

Another red spotted newt came to check on the worm.

Not interested in tug of war today.

Endlers are also curious about the worm.

Interestingly, fish are not scared of newts at all.

The newt finally got a good grip on the worm.

Usually it takes 5-10 minutes for a newt to swallow the whole worm.

This time though, the newt handled the large worm rather quickly.

Here you can see a small red worm landed on top of the newt.

That was the quickest worm execution by a newt I've ever seen!

And sometimes newts are not interested in eating worms.

Earthworms and red worms can survive underwater for over a week.

Though, this time a big mama Endlers fish got interested in this large worm.

Another newt is trying to take the worm from the fish.

Big mama is not willing to give up her trophy!

The newt makes another attempt to intercept the fish with the worm.

The fish moves faster than newt.

Big mama fish goes around the tank weaving the worm as a victory banner for all fish to see.
