Early spring is a great time for picking wild-growing flowers.
In this example, I put a Siberian Squill flower bulb in one of my tiny aquarium gardens.

Add water to the level just to keep the lower bottom of the bulb in the water.

All set and ready.

This sustaining aquarium is populated with snails, scuds, and seed shrimp.

The next day, I noticed some growth.

By the end of the week, the flower is ready to bloom.

Timelapse recording reveals some wild critter comes with the flower.

I keep the Siberian Squill flower for a couple of weeks in my aquarium garden for spring spirit.
Small and pretty it is.
Have fun and happy aquariums :)
