People ride a kick scooter the way they learned to do it the very first time: always using the same leg to kick.
It could be either the left or right leg, depending on which side you approached the scooter the first time.
Well, the better way to ride the scooter is to alternate legs.
Alternate your legs every other kick, every two kicks or as often as you want.
Here I ride alternating my legs every kick.
And now I alternate legs every two kicks.
Alternating legs may feel awkward at first.
You have to force yourself for a mile or two (15-20 minutes) to ride alternating your legs.
That's all it takes to get used to it.
Riding a scooter while alternating legs makes your ride easier and more pleasant for a longer distance.
