Words of gratitude to my friend RP 101 Aquatics for sharing with me Guppy Grass, among other plants.

Here you can see Guppy Grass on July 12th, 2019.
I always put every new "thing" into a separate nursery for observation.
In a couple days, I set up a larger nursery for this purpose.
Here it goes.
One month later, on August 15th.
The plant has basically tripled in size.
Let's anchor the plant with a seashell and move it into a 3 liter jar aquarium with guppies.
It looks pretty in the aquarium.
Here you can see the Guppy Grass 3 months later, on October 23rd.
Guppies nibble on the plant all the time.
The plant has grown noticeably.
Also, Guppy Grass seems to grow slower than the fast growing Hornwort or even faster growing Elodea.
November 10th.
The plant has grown thicker in the past 4 months.
Let's pull it out to take a closer look at it.
Here it is.
This branch is 25 cm long.
There are many younger branches.
And here you can see its roots!
I cut off a rooted branch from the plant.
The plant has more roots.
The old plant goes back to the old nursery.
And the cutting goes into another aquarium.
So, now I have two large guppy grass plants in two aquariums.
March 20th, 2020
The long Winter nights did not stop the Guppy Grass from growing and filling the space of the nursery.
Look at that thicket of Guppy Grass!
I take some of the Guppy Grass from the old nursery to set up a new one.
The cuttings go into the new nursery.
My aquariums get indirect sunlight from a window, no water changes, no man-made filters, no CO2 injections.
The Guppy Grass has grown from a single 10 cm cutting into 3 jars of bushes in 9 months.
It looks great!
Have fun and happy aquarium gardens :)
