Congestion pricing NYC changed nothing for cyclists

Congestion pricing NYC changed nothing for cyclists

January 2025
Congestion pricing in NYC certainly affects car owners expenses for driving through New York.

It does not make any noticeable difference for cyclists.

People drive cars much less during harsh winter season.

There will be much more traffic when it gets warmer in Spring.
Congestion pricing does not change it.

Less traffic does not stop drivers and cyclists from going on red lights.
People move around the city the way they always do.

Cutting in front of me for an illegal turn.

The traffic by the Queensborough bridge in the middle of the night may not seem as heavy as during day.

And yet, it's all the same heavy traffic.

Pricing or not - cars still drive against traffic even in freezing cold weather on black ice road.

Priceless!!

Congestion pricing changed nothing for cyclists like me riding across New York City.

People do same sh!t

Have Fun and Safe Rides :)
