Let's take a closer look at Grindal worms. 

Grindal worms live in a high humidity environment and like to bathe for hours in droplets of water. 

Time-lapse recording reveals interesting behavior patterns of Grindal worms. 

Grindal worms tend to stay in clusters while constantly moving in and out on a wet surface. 

The cluster of Grindal worms shrinks down as water evaporates and worms dry out.

 We can use this behavior pattern for making dry Grindal worm pellets. 

Let's collect Grindal worms on the day when there are too many of them for feeding fish. 

Live Grindal worms are undeniably one of the best foods my fish enjoy 1-2 times a week. 

Some weeks I have too many live Grindal worms and some weeks not enough for fish feeding. 

Then I feed fish with either frozen or... dry Grindal worms. 

Break a large blob of live Grindal worms on small clusters on some flat surface - any plate will do.

 And let them air dry.

 It could take a day for water to evaporate at room temperature. 

Use a napkin to remove excess water between clusters of worms to speed up evaporation if in rush.

 Removing water also prevents Grindal worms from moving between clusters. 

By the end of the day, the clusters of Grindal worms dried out in the shape of pellets.

 Put the pellets in a box and save it for days when you need to feed your fish.

There are two ways I feed my fish with Grindal worm pellets. 

Let's put a small pinch of pellets in a cup. 

Add some water and let the pellets soak in it for 3-5 minutes. 

In the mean time, let's feed fish with dry pellets as is. 

Take a small pinch of dry Grindal worms pellets. 

And drop it in an aquarium. 

Always give a small amount of pellets! 

Each pellet consists of many dry Grindal worms!!

The well dried pellets stay on the water’s surface the same way as fish food flakes do until they get soaked.

 Not so dry pellets sink down right away for fish enjoyment. 

Now let's feed fish with soaked Grindal worm pellets. 

Pour soaked pellets in the aquarium. 

My Endlers go enthusiastically after sinking pellets. 

Let's feed fish in another aquarium. 

Grindal worm pellets take much less storage space than frozen Grindal worms. 

It is simple to make at home.

 And fish love Grindal worm pellets!
