These nail clippers have 20° angled blades for easier and precise clipping.
First time trimming nails is a challenge for kittens and for us too.
Our kittens get their nails trimmed the first time at the age of two months.
I hold the kitten, placing it on my forearm with all paws hanging over.
The neck of the kitten rests between my index and middle fingers, held in a V shape.
Kittens feel comfortable lying down this way.
And I can use my free hand for patting and controlling the kitten.
We trim the nails of our kittens once every 2-3 weeks.
Or as soon as we notice kittens are more vigilantly scratching everything in the apartment.
Trimming nails became a routine my cats got used to.
It takes just 5-10 minutes to trim the nails of three kittens.

Lisa is the smallest among our 3 cats.
Even at one year old, she fits easily on my forearm.
Her brothers of the same age are noticeably larger.
And yet I still hold them in the same fashion, resting on my forearm.
Kitten Eli
One year later.
At about 12 pounds, Eli is the largest cat in the house.
He is also the most adventurous and... the most mischievous too :)
Eli has beautiful amber-colored eyes.
He has the attitude of a tiger.
And yet, Eli allows and enjoys trimming his nails.
It's like a game for him - judging by the movements of his tail :)
Eli’s big paws come with large claws.
The nail clipper cuts through his thick nails without any problem.
We've been using the same nail clippers all the time.

Kitten Teddy
One year later
Teddy has silky, shiny silver moon fur and an amazing attitude.
He is always ready for everything I want to do with him - play or cuddle together anytime.
So unsurprisingly, trimming nails is just another thing Teddy is ready for anytime too.
Three different cats with different attitudes all get their nails trimmed at the same time.
Trimming nails is a regular routine for cats, and it's a nice excuse to give them extra hugs we all enjoy.
